Apparently “…algorithms are being used to oppress people.. I saw … individuals just getting screwed by unfair automated decisions.” “Certain categories of people were being given ‘scores’ by computer programs which led to their being charged more for car insurance, paying higher interest rates on credit cards, getting disqualified from jobs or receiving longer prison terms.”
