On Aug. 20, 2017, Jerry Lewis died at the age of 91. He is best known for his over the top comedic performances in movies like The Nutty Professor. He also raised money to fight muscular dystrophy. What most people do not know is that he owned or controlled much of what he produced. He innovated film production by simply putting a video monitor next to a film camera. One detail everybody keeps missing can be seen in the 1963 film titled Who Is Minding The Store? In one scene, actress Agnes Moorehead is seen driving her car across a bridge while talking on a phone. I think it is the first time anyone is shown doing what millions of people now do everyday. In closing, one last “Laaaaaaaydeeeeee!”
