Transparency Builds Trust
A recruiter contacts a candidate by email. They will not say who the client is. They will not reveal the rate. They will not reveal their phone number and will only call from an unknown phone number. None of the interviewers will identify themselves. They want to know lots of private information. The candidate turns them down. Transparency builds trust. If a recruiter cannot reveal basic information that any reasonable person would want to know about a position then there is no reason to do business.
