Some recruiters want to know how old a candidate is. It is illegal to ask. Sometimes candidates post it on social media themselves. Some will want to know where a candidate went to college and will look up the information from there. Some are bold enough to ask when a candidate graduated from high school. Others will ask for the last four digits of their social security number, which combined with other information should be red flag for other illegal activities. Recruiters are not helping clients or candidates with these tactics.
